First Circular and Call for Papers
The 3rd International EJC-PISE Workshop “Plasma based technologies for tool industry and biomedical engineering” is an application oriented module of the 6th Symposium on Vacuum based Science and Technology.
The Workshop is an initiative of the European Joint Committee on Plasma and Ion Surface Engineering (EJC-PISE), well known as the organizer of the International Conference on Plasma Surface Engineering (PSE), taking place every two years in Germany.
The aim of this International Workshop is to improve the scientific and industrial cross-border collaboration in the field of Plasma Surface Engineering in the Baltic Sea Regions. Moreover, the EJC-PISE workshops concentrated on applications of plasma and ion-/particle-beam surface and on practical problems.
The Workshop is focused on the topics of protective coatings for metal- and woodworking tools as well as technologies and materials for biomedical engineering, will be organized jointly by the European Society of Thin Films (Dresden, Germany), the BalticNet-PlasmaTec (Greifswald, Germany) and the Koszalin University of Technology.
The Workshop will be a forum for information exchange and presentation of new solutions and products offered by manufactures and sales companies representing tool industry, active in biomedical engineering as well as in vacuum and plasma based technologies.
Kindly invited to the Workshop are both scientists from research organizations as well as engineers from the industry, who are interested in new contacts and cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region.
